Arscott Golf Club is situated just 4 miles from Shrewsbury where the Shropshire Plain gives way to the South Shropshire Hills. The topography, therefore, is very interesting and varied, with gentle hills and undulating fairways without being too challenging on the legs. There are pools, large and small formed by the marlpits left by the brickmakers. The clubhouse and course won may awards for building design and sensitive environmental approach. The course is now 6201 yards off the white tees with every hole a memorable one.
