Sheerness Golf Club

Sheerness Golf Club was formed in 1909 and is a traditional private member's club situated on the Isle of Sheppey in the Thames Estuary, Kent. Once described in Golf Monthly, as one of Kent's best kept secrets, this 18 hole semi-links course is a stone's throw away from the sea. It is long & flat and has matured with a variety of natural hazards in the form of dykes, plus other water hazards, to provide a demanding test of golf to challenge golfers in all handicap ranges. The coastal wind plays its part on adding to the degree of difficulty. The Club has excellent facilities and apart from the strong men's, ladies & senior sections encourages junior participation. Indeed, our juniors won the Kent Golf League in 2008. Our members are renown for their friendly welcome & we welcome all to enjoy our facilities which include a putting green, practice area, a clubhouse with bar, changing facilities & a bar. People seeking golfing or social memberships are most welcome to apply. Five & seven day memberships are available for golf & societies return year after year.
