With double greens, sleepered bunkers and USGA greens, The Springs combines the best of the traditional and modern course styles. Offering a fair test to golfers of all standards, there are numerous hazards to contend with and water is featured on ten of the eighteen holes. Of all the holes on the course, the par-3 eighth must be the most beautiful; a green surrounded by water and bunkers, justifying the signature hole title it rightly holds. The course is maintained in first-class condition all-year round and as such, no temporary greens or tees are ever in use. The enchanting clubhouse perfectly complements the magnificence of the course, and provides somewhere to unwind after your round. The on-site hotel was once owned by Deep Purple singer Ian Gillan.
